This announcement is published as a Total Small Business Set-Aside action per FAR 52.219-1 and 52.219-6 (this means you must be a small business, quoting the product of a small-business manufacturer). FISC San Diego is announcing its intent to issue a directed sole source procurement for manufacturer Insight Technology Inc. This is a combined synopsis / solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with FAR 13 and the format in FAR subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the ONLY solicitation; quotes are being requested and A SEPARATE WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. Solicitation number / REQ 55321-5145-0094 applies; an electronic copy of the RFQ can be accessed at http://www.neco.navy.mil. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-27 and DFAR Change Notices effective through 12/13/00. The standard industrial code is 3827. The business size standard is 500. This requirement is for a fixed priced contract for 1line item as follows. The agency need is for CLIN 0001 ? (142 Each) - Insight Technology Inc M6X Tactical Light, part no. M6X-000-A17. All items are to be delivered to: Commander, Explosive Ordnance Disposal Group One, 2424 Rendova Road Bldg 156, San Diego, CA 92155. The provision at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors ? In addition, if you are quoting on a comparable commercial item, product literature must be included. All FAR certifications and representations specified above must also accompany your quote.
