- This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at http://www.eps.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) site located at http://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the Internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by the Navy Sea Systems Command. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division, NSWCDD, intends to purchase 1,000 - Philips or equal brand 5.2GB 5.25 inches Rewritable Optical Disk., part number PHI83PD0. The following items are known to be equals: Sony, Hewlett Packard, and Verbatim. The equipment will be used at the Naval Surface Weapons Center Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD) in existing computer equipment. The optical disk will be acquired utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures in accordance with FAR Part 13. The closing d! ate will be 17 June 2005 with an anticipated award date of June 24, 2005. All items quoted, must be inclusive of shipping and handling fees. All items will be priced FOB-Destination, Dahlgren, Virginia. Delivery shall be 30 days after receipt of order. The GOVERNMENT WILL NOT ISSUE A WRITTEN REQUEST FOR QUOTATION AS ALL ITEMS ARE IDENTIFIED IN THIS NOTICE.
