Description

The U.S Fish and Wildlife Service (FWS) intends to issue an Invitation for Bids (IFB) for the repair of water control structures at Tennessee National Wildlife Refuge, Duck River Unit, Humphreys County, TN. Work includes but is not limited to; supplying all materials, tools, supplies, labor, transportation and equipment necessary to replace or repair water control structures including: installing cofferdams; excavating, hauling, grading, and compacting fill material; removing water control structures and culverts; installing new water control structures, culverts, headwalls and access walkways; installing rip-rap and compacted gravel; erosion control measures including silt fence, and seeding; and various quality control testing, all in accordance with the plans and specifications to constitute a complete and functional facility at Tennessee National Wildlife Refuge. The NAICS code is 237990. The size standard is $28.5 million. The estimated price range is between $100,000 and $250,000. The tentative IFB issue date is on or about 6/30/05, with a 30 day closing. A firm-fixed price contract will be issued, with a performance period of 150 days from the Notice to Proceed. The anticipated award date is on or about 08/15/05. The IFB documents will be available electronically on the Federal Business Opportunities Web Site at HTTP://FEDBIZOPPS.GOV under IFB number 401815B016. Paper copies WILL NOT be available. Once the solicitation is posted, it is incumbent upon the interested parties to review this site for any updates/amendments. Note; All prospective contractors shall complete electronic annual representations and certifications at http://orca.bpn.gov in conjunction with required registration in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) www.ccr.gov in order to be eligible for award.
