Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes ar e being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is W9124V-05-T-0017 and is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). The NAICS code is 423830 and the size standard is less than 100 Employees. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect though Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-03, Effective 11 Apr 2005 & Class Deviation 2005-o0001. The proposed contract is 100 percent set aside for small business concerns. The acquisition is a firm fixed priced purchase order in support of the Montana Army National Guards Combined Support Maintenance Shop (CSMS). CSMS requires one (1) hot wedge heat  sealing machine with straight post. CSMS requires the machine to weld, repair & fabricate co ded polyester material. The system shall consist of the following: Foot switch with out lock; Hot wedge heat sealing system; 7mm & 15mm heat sealer body; 220V; Steel feed roller, 0.6mm, 10mm wide; Mounting parts for guide attachment; Overlapping attachmen t, adjustable; Hemmer, 7mm & 15 mm; Steel feed roller, smooth, 10mm wide; and have at least a one (1) year warranty . For descriptive Purposes, the equipment shall be brand name or equal to Pfaff products. If the offeror is quoting an equal item, please provide technical specification and warranty information. The provision of FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items (Mar 2005) applies to this RFQ. 52.212-3, the clause needs to be completed and a signed copy of this pro vision shall be submitted with any offer. 52.212-2, Evaluation, Commercial Items (Jan 1999). The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantag eous to the Government, price and other factors considered. The following factors shall be used to evaluate offers: Price, Past Performance and Technical Capability. Past performance and technical capability, when combined, are significantly more importan t when compared to price or cost. Vendors are requested to submit past performance information to include persons of contact on their last two contracts for similar products.
