- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items (non-personal services) issued by the 509th Contracting Squadron, Whiteman AFB, Missouri. This document was prepared in accordance with FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented and in accordance with FAR FAC 2001-24 with additional information included in this notice. This electronic solicitation is the only solicitation being issued, and is issued as a Request for Quotation. A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. This is a 100% Small Business Set Aside. Solicitation Number is FA4625-05-Q-0008. The NAICS code 332911 applies to this solicitation. The size standard is 500 employees. The contractor is to provide all labor, materials, equipment, and tools to replace pumps and valves at the wastewater treatment plant trickling filter. The requirements are as follows: Remove existing and install new 6? vertical dry pit pumps, 4 each. Remove existing and install new 8? manually operated gate valves in suction line of each pump, 4 each. Provide transition piece from 8? gate valve to 6? pump suction. Remove existing and install new 8? vertical ball check valves into the discharge of each pump line, 4 each. Remove existing and install new 8? manually operated gate valves in discharge line of each pump, 4 each. Provide stainless steel nuts, bolts and washers where required for all new installs. Work can only be done on two lines at one time in order to continue normal plant operations.
