- The U.S. Department of State intends to conduct a competitive procurement for a Contractor to provide network engineering support services for the Diplomatic Telecommunications Service ? Program Office (DTS-PO). The Contractor shall support DTS-PO?s engineering design and implementation planning endeavors by providing expertise in a variety of communications technology areas, to include, but not limited to the following: Internet Protocol (IP); ATM; Intelligent Multiplex Network Engineering; Network Security Engineering; Wide-area Network (WAN) Engineering; Communications Network Modeling; Configuration Management; Systems Design, Engineering, and Integration; and Satellite Systems Engineering. This procurement will be a 100% small business set-aside. The North American Industry Classification Code is 541512, with annual receipts of $21 Million. Award of a Cost-Reimbursement, Cost-Plus-Award-Fee contract is contemplated for this procurement. A base period of one year and four one-year options is contemplated. All interested parties should respond to solicitation number S-DTSPO-05-R-0001 on or about July 1, 2005, which will be posted on the Department of State's Acquisition Web Site: www.statebuy.state.gov. Please do not contact the contracting office prior to July 1, 2005. All eligible, responsible sources may submit an offer, which shall be considered.
