Description

PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Contractor shall provide all labor, tools, materials, equipment, supervision and incidentals to perform storm damage repair on Greene Mountain Road #98. Work will include excavation, pipe replacement, construction of a mechanically stabilized wall, furnishing and placing aggregate, geotextile materials and riprap, and seeding designated sections of an existing road. ESTIMATED PRICE RANGE: Between $250,000.00 and $500,000.00 PROJECT LOCATION: Project is located in Greene County, Tennessee on the Nolichucky Ranger District. Drive approximately 16 miles east of Greeneville, TN on TN Hwy 70. Turn left onto Upper Paint Creek Road and travel approximately 1.6 miles to Greene Mountain Road. Travel approximately 1.0 mile to B.O. P. SOLICITATION DOCUMENTS: The solicitation, SAZ IFB 04-05-30, and related documents will be issued via FedBizOpps as an Invitation for Bid and will be available for downloading on or about June 28, 2005 at the website address: http://www.fedbizopps.gov/ A Pre-Bid Visit date will be included in the solicitation. All vendors are required to be registered in the Central Contractor Registration database (CCR) prior to award of a Federal contract. Registration may be completed on the internet at http://www.ccr.gov/ A handbook and other information are available at the site, including information on how to obtain a DUNS number, which is required to begin the registration process.
