- Description
- This project is located on the High Sierra Ranger District of the Sierra National Forest. The project calls for the reconstruction of a 128 unit campground facility. Work consists of clearing, demolition of existing facilities, excavation, construction staking, quality control and quantity measurement, reconsstruction of accessible campsites and double unit camp sites placement of aggregate surface material for campsite development, construction of foundation pads for two 4-unit flush toilets, Eight 2-unit flush toilets, and misc. preparation for one 2-unit vault toilet, installation of site plumbing and related water system facilities, installation of site electrical and related lighting system facilities, const. of 3-ft. wide and 6 ft. wide concrete walkways, installation of septic tanks and leach fields, placement of aggregate base material, placement of Hot Bituminous plant mix on parking spurs and CG main entrance w/related intersections, hot bituminious aspalt patching of existing roadway along CG loops, placement of concrete curbs, painted traffic markings and stiping, furnish and installation of 3 double wide gates, installation of corrugated metal pipe. More work details will be addressed in solicitation. A pre-bid tour will be scheduled and announced in solicitation. Govt. Est: Between $500,000 and $1,000,000; Est. Start Work: Aug. 15, 2005; Est. Contract Time: 420 days
