Description

NOTICE OF INTENT: The Department of Homeland Security, Customs and Border Protection (CBP) intends to award a sole source simplified acquisition action pursuant to the authority under 41USC 253(c(1)) only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.(See Numbered Note 22) This requirement is for a Fujitsu, Primepower 650/ 1.89GHz sever as follows. PRIMEPOWER650/1.89GHz (CPUx2/ Mem 4Gx1) - Solaris 9, P/N PW0RFR122U with the following internal architecture: Quad FastEthernet Card, P/N PW008QE2, XVR-100 Accelerator, P/N PW0L8GA22, with 2 EA, 73GB Hard Disk Drive, AL8LE, P/N PW0R3D34, Internal DAT Unit, P/N PW0R3DT1U, Redundant PSU (100VAC), P/N PW0R7PS11U and Tech Pub CD-ROM, P/N CA40001-K211. CPB intends to solicit only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals and award is not anticipated on the basis of any proposal or other information received in response to this notice. Numbered Note 22 applies.
