- In accordance with FAR Part 13, Simplified Procedures, and FAR Part 12 Commercial Items, the U.S. EPA National Vehicle and Fuel Emissions Laboratory (Ann Arbor, Michigan) requires a Reconditioned Direct Current (DC) Engine Dynamometer to test Diesel engines in the 300 HP range for V-6 and V-8 Diesel engines commonly used in a pick-up or medium duty truck. The contractor shall remove the current GE 380 HP DC Dynamometer for storage on-site. The contractor shall install a Reconditioned DC Dynamometer, including retrofit of the space, integration with an existing Dyne Systems Dyn-Loc IV Controller and Drive System Equipment, and Commission the complete system. This procurement is a small business set-aside under NAICS code 334519 with a size standard of 500 Employees. Award will be made using "Best Value" evaluation criteria. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the Agency. Any firm believing itself capable of providing the required Reconditioned Direct Current (DC) Dynamometer must request a copy of the RFP in writing within fifteen (15) days of electronic posting of this notice.
