Description
This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at http://www.eps.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) site located at http://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting synopses and solicitations to the Internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by NSWC Crane. Synopsis for N00164-05-R-8943. The Government has a requirement for a Millimeter Wave Vector Network Analyzer System. Quantity is one. Description is as follows: The Vector Network Analyzer (VNA) system must be capable of measurements from 40 MHz up to 110 GHz and will include calibration capability up to 110 GHz. The VNA does not have to be able to sweep continuously from 40 MHz to 110 GHz; but it should be fairly easy to select certain frequency bands between whatever base VNA upper limit is used, and the upper limit of 110 GHz. It is assumed that some type of Transmission/Reflection Module will be used to obtain the desired Millimeter Wave frequency. The VNA must include the ability to perform full 2-port S-Parameter testing. It should also be capable of performing harmonic, inter-modulation distortion, conversion loss, isolation, and group delay measurements. The base VNA should come with a rack mount kit and the whole system should include some type of console in order to utilize the banded Millimeter Wave Test Heads. The system must include extended power capabilities with bias tees. The system must include IF inputs (can be ! rear panel). The system must be capable of Frequency Offset and Multiple Source control. The VNA must include at least a GPIB interface. The contract for this commercial procurement will be a firm fixed price contract for current FY requirements. Solicitation N00164-05-R-8943 will be issued on full and open competition basis. RFP will be available for download at http://www.crane.navy.mil/supply/synopcom.htm on or about 23 Jun 2005. Closing date will be on or about 7 Jul 2005. Delivery will be F.O.B. destination to Naval Surface Warfare Center, Bldg 3168 Code 8091, Crane, IN 47522. NAICS Code 334515; FSC Code 6625. Point of contact is Ms. Shirley Corbin, Code 1165ZM at (812) 854-6219, email Shirley.Corbin@navy.mil. All responsible sources may submit an offer, which shall be considered by this agency.
