Description
The following is added "these system components will be interoperating with CCTT (DIMM\E-DIMM) software and utilizing the CCTT Visual IG System (EPX-50)" to the following description: The Government anticipates awarding a contract to Advanced Interactive Systems (AIS) for development of a Virtual Warrior (VW) Initial Capability Demonstration System. This system is a dismounted warrior training module designed to train soldiers how to move, shoot, communicate and fight in a full spectrum virtual training environment that includes complex/urban terrain. Currently, Infantry Soldiers are being trained using a DI Immersive System called SVS Squad Synthetic Environment (SSE) produced by AIS and the Virtual Integrated MOUT Training System (V-IMTS), also developed by AIS. Furthermore, AIS has developed an SVS DI Wearable system that uses a head mounted display. This VW initiative will leverage the technology and components currently used in the three AIS systems described above (V-IMTS, SSE & DI SVS Wearable) these system components will be interoperating with CCTT (DIMM\E-DIMM) software and utilizing the CCTT Visual IG System (EPX-50). The VW initiative will incorporate AIS components used in these systems as well as explore other technologies. The demo systems will be evaluated by Infantry SMEs who will also demonstrate the two demo systems at conferences and shows in an attempt to reinforce relevance for Soldier CATT. This action is being processed under FAR 6.302-1,Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services will satisfy Agency Requirements. This notice is being published for subcontracting purposes only.
