Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The Request for Quotation (RFQ) number is FA8604-05-E-W001. This solicitation and incorporated clauses/provisions are those in effect through Acquisition Circular 2005-03 effective 11 Apr 05 and Class Deviation 2005-o0001 and DFARS change notice 20040223. This solicitation incorporates by reference the following clauses: FAR 52.204-7, 52.212-1, 52.212-3, 52.212-4 and 52.212-5, and DFARS 252.204- 7007 Alternate A. NAICS Code 443120. This acquisition is a sole source procurement in accordance with FAR 6.302-1 (a) to ABAQUS Central Inc, West Lafayette IN, the only manufacturer of the below items that can meet the Government+s requirements. This procurement will be for one (1) base year and three (3) 1 (one) year options. starting 1 Sep 05. This RFQ has the following items: CLIN DESCRIPTION QTY 0001 ABAQUS Analysis Tokens 15 which includes 3 tokens for ABAQUS/CAE 0002 Option Year 1 for ABAQUS 15 Tokens which includes 3 tokens for ABAQUS/CAE 0003 Option Year 2 for ABAQUS 15 Tokens which includes 3 tokens for ABAQUS/CAE 0004 Option Year 3 for ABAQUS 15 Tokens which includes 3 tokens for ABAQUS/CAE Other provisions applicable for this procurement are FAR 52.217-7, 52.232-18 and 52.232-19. If manufacturer requires a standard software/hardware maintenance service agreement to be signed by Government, please note, the terms and conditions of that agreement are required to be in compliant with all Federal Laws, Statutes, and the Federal Acquisition Regulation. Therefore, please modify accordingly and submit with your quote. FOB Destination. The Ship to Address is Wright-Patterson AFB OH 45433.
