- The Department of Veterans Affairs intends this procurement as a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business Concern set-aside. The contract period will be for one year and four one year option periods. Estimated annual quantities are for VA only,and are based on historical usage. Medical tubing connectors line items required and estimated annual quantities are: 5 in 1, Clean, 249,335 each; 5 in 1, Sterile, 210,078 each; Sims/irrigation nozzle, Clean, 10,610 each; Y 1/4", Sterile, 12,732 each; Y 3/8", Clean, 26,525 each; Y 3/8", Sterile, 10,610 each; 6 in 1 Y, Clean, 19,098 each; 6 in 1 Y, Sterile, 11,459 each; T, Sterile, 3,820 each; T, Clean, 9,549 each; Straight 1/4", Clean, 111,405 each; Straight 1/4" Sterile,30,239 each; Straight 5/16", Clean, 21,220 each. Product specifications: Disposable, Single Patient Use, Sterile and Non-Sterile (per line item), Assorted sizes (per line item), Assorted configurations (per line item), Autoclavable, Shatter proof plastic, Transparent, Barbed. The contract items will be distributed through delivery orders to VA facilities. If offeror is not a manufacturer, a signed agreement between the offeror and maufacturer must be submitted with proposal, and remain in effect for the duration of the contract including option years. OFFERS ARE NOT BEING SOLICITED AT THIS TIME. The Request for Proposals solicitation will be available for downloading, on or about the issue date of 6/30/2005 from the VA Office of Acquisition and Materiel Management (OA&MM) internet website at http://www.va.gov/oamm/busopp/sols.htm.
