- THIS IS AN AMENDMENT TO THE SYNOPSIS AND SOLICITATION FOR INTERNATIONAL RE-MAIL SERVICES, AS IDENTIFIED BELOW AND ORIGINALLY POSTED TO FEDBIZOPPS ON 5/27/05. THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION IS HEREBY ADDED TO THE PERFORMANCE WORK STATEMENT IN THE SOLICITATION (RFP): The Government (NIST)anticipates having the following quantity of re-mail services during the first year under the proposed contract: Average of 100 pounds per week; Average of 520 pieces of mail per week. ALL OTHER TERMS AND CONDITIONS REMAIN UNCHANGED AND IN FULL FORCE AND EFFECT. The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), has a requirement for International Re-mail Services for all international mail generated from the NIST Mail Center in Gaithersburg, Maryland. *****The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 541860, with a small business size standard of $5 million. This acquisition is set aside for small business. Only proposals from small businesses will be considered by the Government. *****A Performance Work Statement (PWS), along with terms and conditions and full instructions, will be included in the solicitation document, which can be accessed in accordance with instructions provided below. *****The Government intends to award a commercial services Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract, for a Base Year and four (4) one-year Options. *****All interested, responsible, small business concerns may submit a proposal, which will be considered by the Government. The solicitation, any subsequent amendments thereto, and all questions and answers related to this procurement will be made available for Contractor access, via the Internet, at http://www.fedbizopps.gov . The solicitation number is: SB1341-05-R-0013. The Government anticipates releasing the solicitation for vendor access on or about May 27, 2005. Potential small businesses are responsible for accessing the web site and must respond to the solicitation in order to be considered for award of any resultant contract. Numbered Note 1 applies.
