- US ARMY, MEDCOM, CENTER FOR HEALTH CARE CONTRACTING (CHCC), 2107 17TH STREET, BUILDING 4197, SUITE 68, FORT SAM HOUSTON, TX 78234-5068. Department of Defense (DoD), Military Vaccine (MILVAX) Program For the Total Force Anthrax Vaccine Immunization Program (AVIP), Solicitation number W81K04-05-R-5009. This requirement is to obtain management assistance needed for the MILVAX AVIP program, Office of the Surgeon General (OTSG). Requirement is to assist the Director, Health Care Operations (DHCO), OTSG with the management of information from the military services relating to vaccine adverse events; vaccine projected program requirements; monitoring the military services implementation of the AVIP; and execution of the Armys implementation plan. The c ontractor shall furnish program assistance managers, assistants for office administration, education coordinators, functional analysts, and program analysts. The contractor shall be required to obtain and maintain security clearances, be based in the Fall s Church, Virginia area and provide support services at other sites in the Continental United States, with additional sites in Hawaii, Korea, Okinawa and Germany. Travel is required. The base period of performance will be from 22 August 2005 to 21 August 2006 with four 1-year options through 21 August 2010.
