Description

The purpose of this announcement is to revise the synopsis issued Febuary 08, 2005 for solicitation W52H09-05-R-0181. The solicitation number W52H09-05-R-0181 has been deleted and hereby replaced with W52H09-05-R-0397, with the minimum guaranteed qua ntity and total estimated maximum quantity for any resulting contract are revised below. DESC: 1005-01-334-1507, Part Number 12944203. The item to procure is a reusable Magazine, Cartridge, Soft Pack, made from a nylon cloth per MIL-C-34734. Attached to the cartridge is a bar tack, fastener, snap, socket, clip and a spring retention magazine made from spring wire with a phosphate coating applied. Requirements are a 3 year Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity contract with a guaranteed minimum quantity of 15,000 each and a maximum quantity of 600,000 each. The Government reserves the right to make up to (2) awards. If a single award is made the guaranteed minimum quantity is 15,000 each. If (2) awards are made the guaranteed minimum quantity is 7,500 each. FOB is Destination. For use on the M249 Machine Gun. Estimated issue date is 28 Feb 2005. Proposed contract is 100% small business set-aside. This solicitation will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.501, 5.102(a)(7) and 14.205-1(c). Therefore, hardcopies will n ot be provided. Vendors wishing an electronic copy may download it on or after the issue date by accessing the following address via the internet: http://aais.ria.army.mil/aais/SOLINFO/index.htm. CAUTION: This solicittion will be issued electronically as will any amendments thereto. Because of this, the Government is under no obligation and is in fact unable to maintain a bidders mailing list. It is therefore incumbent upon any interested parties to periodically access the above internet address in orde r to obtain any amendments which may be issued. Failure to obtain any said amendments and to respond to them prior to the date and time set for bid opening/receipt of proposals may render your bid or proposal nonresponsive and result in the rejection of s ame. This solicitation incorporates a Technical Data Package (TDP) that cannot be provided via the internet. Vendors who need this TDP in order to prepare a bid or proposal are instructed to request same by submission of an email request to: tacom-ri-tdp @ria.army.mil. Any said requests should contain the following information: CAGE Code (if available), Company Name, Point of Contact (optional), Street Address, City, State, Zip Code, Telephone Number. A TDP will be provided by normal mail after the soli cittion has been released to the internet.
