Description

GLOVES, VARIOUS STYLES AND SIZES, RESULTING IN THE AWARD OF A BLANKET PURCHASE AGREEMENT. McAlester Army Ammunition Plant, McAlester, OK has a requirement to obtain gloves in various styles and sizes. A BPA for a period of approx. three years (Augu st 2005 through September 30, 2008) will be awarded as a result of this request. The gloves requested will be specified in the forthcoming solicitation. Estimated issue date of solicitation is July 5, 2005. Characteristics include but are not limited to Nitrile, Leather, Cotton and Vinyl Impregnated. Call orders will establish delivery from any awarded quantities. FOB is destination. The proposed contract is set-aside for small business concerns. Offers from other than small business concerns will no t be considered. This solicitation will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.502 and 5.102. Therefore, hardcopies will not be provided. Vendors wishing an electronic copy may download it on or after the issue date by accessing the ASFI webs ite. https://acquisition.army.mil/asfi/default.cfm. CAUTION: This solicitation will be issued electronically as will any amendments thereto. Because of this, the government is under no obligation and is in fact unable to maintain a bidders mailing list. It is therefore incumbent upon any interested partie s to periodically access the solicitation via the ASFI website in order to obtain any amendments which may be issued. Failure to obtain any said amendments and to respond to them prior to the date and time set for receipt may render quote non-responsive a nd result in rejection.
