- COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION Intellitrack Hardware (I) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (II) This solicitation is issued as a request for sources. (III) This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-05. (IV) This solicitation is being issued as full and open competition; the associated NAICS code is 541511. The size standard is $21,000,000 . (V) This combined synopsis/solicitation is for the following commercial item: Design the required database fields to port into the handheld IntelliTrack device. Program the intellitrack device/database for barcode reading of IT products. (VI) Description of requirements are as follows: Specs listed above. (VII) FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors ? Commercial Items (Jan 2004), applies to this acquisition. In addition to written quotes, offerors are instructed to provide a capability statement describing qualifications to perform requirements listed at paragraphs V and VI. (VIII) FAR 52.212-2, Evaluation -- Commercial Items (Jan 1999), applies to this acquisition. Paragraph A of this clause is completed as follows: 1) Price shall be used to evaluate quotes. (IX) The offeror must include a completed copy of the provision at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications -- Commercial Items (May 2004). A copy of this provision is located at http://farsite.hill.af.mil/ (X) The clause at FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions -- Commercial Items (Oct 2003), applies to this acquisition. (XI) FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required To Implement Statutes Or Executive Orders -- Commercial Items (Jun 2004). Additional FAR 52.212-5 clauses cited in the clause applicable to this acquisition are (b) (14) (15) (16) (17) (18) (26) and (31), (c) (1) and (2). (XII) The following clauses are also applicable to this acquisition: 52.204-7, Central Contractor Registration; 52.252-2, Clauses Incorporated by Reference; 252.204-7004 Alt A, Required Central Contractor Registration; 252.212-7001, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders Applicable to Defense Acquisitions of Commercial Items; including 252.225-7001, Buy American Act and Balance of Payments Program, and 252.232-7003, Electronic Submission of Payment Requests. (XIII) The Government intends to award multiple Firm Fixed Priced contract resulting from this solicitation. (XIV) Quotes are required to be received no later than 4:00 pm MST, June 17 2005.
