- The purpose of this contract is to The US Department of the Agriculture, Forest Service administers the Wildlife Resource Monitoring Program. The Wildlife Resource Monitoring Program is seeking technically sound projects that gather information to manage and conserve subsistence wildlife resources on USDA Forest Service managed public lands in Alaska. The program also develops wildlife management expertise within Alaska Native and rural organizations and promotes collaboration among Federal, State, Alaska Native and local organizations. This Request for Proposals is the single designated annual competition through which multiple contract awards will be made. Studies that respond to identified, high-priority information needs for effective subsistence wildlife management on USDA Forest Service managed public lands in Alaska will be considered. The performance period is one to three years. Award of this project to be accomplished under Full and Open Competition, pursuant to the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. The solicitation and drawings will be available for downloading at http://www.fedbizopps.gov on 17 June 05, the solicitation issue date.
