Description

The Department of the Navy, Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center, San Diego (SSC-SD) intends to issue a solicitation to provide services for the Security Control Program, Lock and Key Control Program, and Foreign Travel Program. This requirement is being solicited as an 8(a) acquisition as prescribed in FAR 19.805 Competitive 8(a). Santa Barbara Applied Research is currently performing these services under contract N66001-00-C-5082. The Government anticipates a Firm Fixed Price Contract with a one-year base and four, one-year option periods. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 561110, Office Administrative Services, with a size revenue of $6M. Responses to this synopsis will not be accepted. The solicitation for this requirement N66001-05-R-0027 is anticipated on or about 28 June 2005, the estimated award date is 15 September 2005. The solicitation and any amendments will be available to interested parties via the SPAWAR E-commerce Central website at http://e-commerce.spawar.navy.mil, under "Business Opportunities", "SSC SAN DIEGO, "Open Solicitations". The solicitation will only be available electronically at this website. It is the responsibility of interested parties to routinely monitor SPAWAR E-commerce webpage for any updates or changes to this solicitation. A bidders mailing list will not be established. Any changes for this future solicitation are at the sole discretion of the Contracting Officer.
