- Description
- The Naval Air Warfare Center intends to procure 108 Auxillary Equipment Fixtures (AEF) for use with the Consolidated Automated Support Systems (CASS). This is a ?build-to-print? procurement for P/N 2057AS050-01. The Contractor shall manufacture, test and deliver AEFs in accordance with Drawing 2057AS050. Interested parties are encouraged to identify themselves prior to the closing of this notice and are also invited to view the RFP at www.navair.navy.mil; Click ?Doing Business? and then click ?Open Solicitations.? The RFP may or may not be posted prior to the closing of this notice. Contractors must have approved DD2345 prior to release of the drawing. See Note #8. This procurement is 100% set-aside for small business. Evaluation factors for choosing a source include: 1) AEF must meet MIL-STD-167 vibration specification testing requirements 2) AEF must mate to CASS station rack at St Inigoes MD and withstand weight of 170 lbs 3) Delivery of 1st unit due 120 calendar days after date of contract; follow-on production units at the rate of 4 per month. Early deliveries are acceptable. 4) past performance; and 5) price.
