Description
THE SOLICITATION NUMBER HAS CHANGED TO N68335-05-R-0105. ALL OTHER TERMS AND CONDITIONS REMAIN THE SAME. The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst intends to procure Wiring System Repair Tool Sets, P/N 3218AS810 and associated technical data for the MH-60R aircraft. This procurement will be 100% set aside for Veteran Owned Small Business (VOSB). The required quantity is for thirteen (13) each new tool sets. A quantity of five (5) of the thirteen (13) shall be pre-production units. Included with the basic quantity are requirements to provide preliminary and final Product Drawings, preliminary and final Tool Drawings, Technical Manual/Illustrated Parts Breakdown, Maintenance Planning/Provisioning data. An additional (48) forty-eight month-option period for up to an additional forty-three (43) of P/N 3218AS810 may be exercised. Options may be exercised in whole or in parts and shall be delivered either immediately after delivery of the production units, or within a time frame, as mutually agreed upon, after options are invoked. Total quantity for base year and option years is fifty six (56). The Wiring System Repair Tool Set is comprised of approximately 200 tools stored within foam inserts that are installed inside fiberglass carrying cases. Each tool set contains both military specification and commercial tools used for the repair and maintenance of aircraft wiring systems and components. Each Tool Set case will provide content charts depicting the layout and listing of the configuration and tools contained within each case. The foam inserts are assemblies with cavities cut out to accommodate each tool. Any fabrication tooling developed by the contractor for use in the manufacture of the foam inserts will become the property of the US Navy upon contract completion. The Government is anticipating a Firm Fixed Price type contract. The delivery for the pre-production units, quantity of five (5), shall be presented for Technical Evaluation NLT 150 days after contract award. After approval of the pre-production units, delivery of the remaining eight (8)units will be 120 days after production approval. The total period of performance will be 270 days after contract award. A Preliminary Design Review (PDR) will take place and be hosted by the contractor at the contractor?s facilities not longer than 60 days after contract award. A Critical Design Review shall, also be held at the contractor?s facilities not longer than 105 days after contract award. All Tool Sets will be packaged for shipment in accordance with best commercial practices. Delivery shall be FOD Destination to Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) Lakehurst, NJ. ***** This acquisition will be processed as a Veteran Owned Small Business (VOSB) set-aside under NAICS 332212.
