Description

The Bureau of Reclamation Snake River Area Office has a requirement for Rotary Screw Air Compressor and Compressed Air Dryer at the Palisades Field Station in Irwin, Idaho. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format at FAR 12.6, as supplemented in accordance with the format included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the solicitation. The Request for Quotes (RFQ) is being issued as 05SQ140037; and proposals (including the completed FAR 52.212-03 Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items) are due on June 23, 2005. The RFQ incorporates revisions and clauses in effect through FAC 2005-03. This is a total small business set aside. The NAICS code is 333912 Air and Gas Compressor Manufacturing, the small business standard is 500 employees. Contact Amada Renken at 208- 678-0461 ext. 28 or arenken@pn.usbr.gov. The Government anticipates award of a firm-fixed price contract resulting from this solicitation on or about June 30, 2005, that is most advantageous to the Government. THE REQUIREMENT: 1) One (1) Rotary Screw Air Compressor with the following description/specifications: a) 15 hp 460 volt 3 phase continuous duty cycle w/motor starter; b) 50 - 60 SCFM @ 100 psi / 125 psi operating pressure; c) Belt driven screw with 1100 RPM or less rotor speed; d) Water cooled after cooler; e) Sound attenuating enclosure with 80 db or less; f) High efficiency air-lubricant separation system; g) Low unload constant speed control; h)Analog control panel w/hour meter, capacity gauge, lubricant temp gauge, discharge temp gauge and air pressure gauge ; i) Inlet air filter/silencer; j) Dual control auto/manual). 2) One (1) Compressed Air Dryer with the following description/ specifications: a) 50 SCFM @ 100psi; b) Pressure dew point 38 degrees F or less; c) Air cooled; d) Control package to include: high dew point temp light, air temp display, dew point display, remote alarm, timed solenoid drain control . Due to power generation requirements, vendor must be able to provide 24 hour shipping on parts and service. Delivery shall be FOB destination to 3933 SV Hwy 26, Irwin ID 83428.
