Description

The Bureau of Land Management Las Cruces Field Office through the BLM New Mexico State Office has an upcoming requirement for herbicides: Arsenal, 96 quarts; Clarity, 40 gallons; Grazon P+D, 40 gallons; Reclaim, 70 gallons; Remedy, 50 gallons; Roundup Pro, 70 gallons; Tordon 22K, 40 gallons; Adjuvant Methylated Seed Oil, 65 gallons; Drift Control, 2 gallons; and Indicator Dye (Blue), 10 gallons. Delivery of items will be Las Cruces and Alamogordo, New Mexico. Expected delivery date is August 1, 2005. Anticipated award of firm-fixed price contract is on or by June 28, 2005. Evaluation criteria for award consideration, listed in descending order of importance, will include price; technical capability to meet the government need; small business program participation and certification such as Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned, 8a, small disadvantaged business, HUBZone, woman-owned, etc.; past performance in similar or same type of requirement. Technical capability and past performance when combined are approximately equal to cost or price. Request for Quotation No. GDQ051061 using procedures prescribed by FAR Part 12 - Acquisition of Commercial Items in conjunction with FAR Part 13 - Simplified Acquisition Procedures will be issued shortly after transmission of this announcement. Thereafter, the full solicitation package may be accessed via link to this synopsis at www.fedbizopps.gov, or directly at http://ideas.nbc.gov. This is a total small business set-aside. NAICS is 325320 with a small business size standard of 500 employees. PSC is 6505. Prospective offerors must be registered, and must maintain an active registration, in the Central Contractor Registration database found at www.ccr.gov.
