Description

The Bureau of Land Management Socorro Field Office through the BLM New Mexico State Office has an upcoming requirement for the acquisition of supplies required for the construction of water pipelines. Supplies required are polyethylene pipes, polyvinyl chloride pipes, ball valves, float valve assemblies, check valves, air vents, protective boxes, and protective box extensions. Delivery date is July 30, 2005. Anticipated contract award date is on or by June 24, 2005. Evaluation criteria for award consideration, listed in descending order of importance, will include technical capability to meet the government need; price; past performance; and small business program participation and certification such as Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned, 8a, small disadvantaged business, HUBZone, woman-owned, etc.. Technical capability and past performance when combined are approximately equal to cost or price. Request for Quotation No. GDQ051060 using procedures prescribed by FAR Part 12 - Acquisition of Commercial Items in conjunction with FAR Part 13 - Simplified Acquisition Procedures will be shortly after transmission of this announcement.
