- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quote s are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued . This combined synopsis/solicitation, W52H09-05-T-0002, is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-02, effective March 23, 2005. The Government will award a Firm Fixed Price contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible low offeror whose offer conformS to the solicitation and will be most advan tageous to the Government. Prices are to be FOB DESTINATION to Bldg 299, Rock Island Arsenal, Rock Island, Illinois 61299-5000. The following provisions apply to this acquisition: 52.212-1,52.212-3, 52.212-4,52.212-5,52.246-4500, 252.246-7000, 52.247.-34; 52.0000-4173; A copy of these clauses can be requested from the Contract Specialist listed below. Your attention is directed to FAR 52.212-1, Instruction to Offerors - Commercial Items (Jan 2005) paragraph (b)(4) which states: A technical description of the items being offered in sufficient detail to evaluate compliance with the requirements in the solicitation. This may include product literature, or other documents, if necessary; The Government will verify that the offer complies with the requirements of this procurement and the award will be based on low price. NOTE: ALL ITEMS ARE BRAND NAME OR EQUAL. This requirement is for the following items: (1) QTY: 5; JVC HR-S2902U, Part Number #HRS2902, S-VHS Video Cassette player/recorder (2) QTY: 2; Part number AJD410S20, Panasonic AJ-D410 Professional ? DVCPRO Camcorder with AJ-VF10 Viewfinder, Fujinon 20 x 6.4 lens, and Anton Bauer Battery Package. (3) QTY: 2; Part Number AJB 75, Panasonic AJ-B75 AC Adapter with 4-pin XLR. (4) QTY: 2; Part Number XLP4XLJ410, Comprehensive 4-pin XLR Male to 4-pin XLR Female Power Cable-10 ft. (5) QTY: 2; Part Number 3065, Bogen/Manfrotto 3068 Universal Video Tripod Legs with 516 Pro Video Fluid Head-supports 22 pounds. (6) QTY: 2; Part Number 3156, Bogen/Manfrotto 3156 Folding Auto Dolly. (7) QTY: 2; Part number VCTU14, Sony VCT-U14 quick-release tripod adapter. OFFER/QUOTE MUST DETAIL SPECIFICS OF STANDARD COMMERCIAL WARRANTY. The proposed contract action is for supplies for which the Government intends to solicit as 100% Small Business Set Aside. An offeror must quote on all items in this solicitation to be eligible for award. Quoters/Offerors are required to submit their q uotes for this combined synopsis/solicitation via electronic response to vanherzeelev@ria.army.mil or via fax to 309-782-4998. Quotes/offers to the Government shall be signed by a Member of the Firm Authorized to Bind the Company. This is in accordance wi th Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 4.102. CAUTION: Since this combined synopsis/solicitation and any future amendments are being issued through Fed Biz Ops, it is incumbent upon any interested parties to periodically access Fed Biz Ops in order to obtain any amendments, which may be issued. Fail ure to obtain any said amendments and to respond to them prior to the date and time set for receipt of quotes may render your quote non-responsive and result in rejection of your quote.
