Description

This solicitation is for a Helicopter Icing Spray Systems (HISS)Auxiliary Power Unit (APU), Hamilton Sundstrand Model T-62T-40C2, Part No. 160380-101, or its equivalent. If an equivalent, the APU must be of identical form, fit, and function as the - 40C2 and provide the requisite 76 lb/min. bleed air mass flow and 51 PSI bleed air pressure. Aditionally, the following spare parts for the -40C2 or equivalent APU are requested: Applicable manuals for T-62T-40C2 APU (operator's, maintenance, overhaul, a nd parts); Engine Sequence Unit, Part No. 160510-500A; Analog Converter, Part No. 160240-400; and Bleed Air Valve, Part No. 114699-2. This will be a firm-fixed price contract. The solicitation will be issued on an unrestricted basis. The Government inte nds to use Part 12 to buy these commercial items. The solicitation will be posted to the Army Single Face to Industry web page (http://acquisition.army.mil) and to the Fort Rucker Directorate of Contracting web page (http://www.rucker.army.mil/doc/doc.htm ). No paper copies of this solicitation or any amendments will be issued. A solicitation mailing list will not be established since electronic commerce methods will be utilized. The solicitation is planned for issue on or about 27 June 2005, and proposa ls are to be due on 28 July 2005; these dates are subject to change.
