Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation, Part 12. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. Quotes are due to the 55th Contracting Squadron no later than 4pm (CST) Monday, 13 June 2004. Quotes shall be submitted via e-mail in a Word, Excel, or PDF format to alecia.fay@offutt.af.mil or faxed to (402) 294-7280. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-26. This procurement is set aside 100% for small business. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 336360 and small business size standard is 500 employess. The government intends to issue a purchase order for the items set forth below, subject to the availability of funds. Item 01: Truck Modification to USAF Band Vehicle Internaltional 4300 w/18ft body. Qty: 1 each Specifications: Remove Thieman twl 16-20 liftgate w/ control and keys. Install new ILF4-3300 3,300 lb folding liftgate 86? wide x 63? deep platform, leveling system, honeycomb alluminum platform. Note: contractor will keep old lift gate. Item 02: Van Body ? Install two rows of recessed ?E? track Qty: 1 each Specifications: Install two rows of recessed ?E? track on sides and front at 24? on center and 36? on center from floor. Item 03: Remove cab bench seats Qty: 1 each. Specifications: Install government provided self-contained air bucket driver seat and associated wiring and standard bucket passenger seat. Reinstall stea belts from bench seat on supplied bucket seats. CONTRACTOR MUST BE REGISTERED IN CENTRAL CONTRACTOR REGISTRATION (www.ccr.gov) AND HAVE A CURRENT PROFILE IN THE ONLINE REPRESENTATIONS AND CERTIFICATIONS (http://orca.bpn.gov/) PRIOR TO AWARD. PARTIAL QUOTES WILL BE CONSIDERED, however the government intends to award a single contract, yet reserves the right to award multiple contracts if deemed in the best interest of the government.
