Description

The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), Agricultural Research Service intends to award on a Sole-Source basis the following requirement for electronic internet access on behalf of all current employees, contractors, cooperators and volunteers performing the work on behalf of the USDA. All users listed above will have access when they are acting within the scope of their relationship with USDA, as well as any public on-site users, who are duly authorized by the Government to access USDA's secure intranet. This access is for ordinary business, scholarly and educational purposes of the Government, and source awards are intended to be awarded to the following company listed below for a base (September 30, 2005 - September 29, 2006) and four option years. Electronic access for serial and journals as follows - NRC Research Press Journals: Canadian Geotechnical Journal Canadian Journal of Botany Canadian Journal of Chemistry Canadian Journal of Civil Engineering Canadian Journal of Earth Sciences Canadian Journal of Fisheries and Aquatic Sciences Canadian Journal of Forest Research Canadian Journal of Zoology Environmental Reviews Genome Journal of Environmental Engineering and Science Plus Plant Molecular Biology Reporter Biochemistry and Cell Biology Additional Requirements: 1) Perpetual Data Rights to the above titles 2) Continuing access (post subscription period expiration) to subscribed-to information published within the subscription period for USDA's Authorized Users, either from the publisher's server or via a third party (in the event the title switches publishers, or the current publisher folds) or via vendor-supplied, electronic files in a mutually agreeable format provided that USDA continues to observe its obligations with respect to security and restrictions on usage.
