- Description
- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. Although this is a combined synopsis/solicitation, please refer to the hard copy solicitation available on the Gateway at http://progate.daps.dla.mil/. You must submit your proposal on the hard copy solicitation. From the Gateway homepage, left-hand sidebar, select ?Search RFPs.? Then choose the RFP you wish to download. RFPs are in portable document format (PDF). To download and view these documents you will need the latest version of Adobe Acrobat Reader. This software is available free at http://www.adobe.com. A paper copy of the solicitation will not be available to requestors. The solicitation issue date is 15 June 2005. Closing Date is 15 July 2005. The solicitation SP0406-05-R-2717 is issued as a request for proposal (RFP) and will result in a Fixed Price/Economic Price Adjustment Indefinite Quantity Contract for a base year and two one-year option periods for two NSNs. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through FAR. This procurement is full and open competition after exclusion of sources. Stock delivery to SRG Richmond VA and AQ5 Tracy CA will be FOB Destination with Inspection/Acceptance at Destination. QAP 204 applies. MSDS and OSHA Hazard Warning Label are required. Base Year Estimated Annual Demand (EAD) Stock to SRG (Richmond VA) is 78,947 CN; Stock to AQ5 (Tracy CA) is 33,834 CN. Option year EAD is Stock SRG 17,739 CN; Stock AQ5 7,603 CN. Delivery: 30 DARO. NSN 9150-01-035-5394. Item Description: Lubricating Oil, Gear; unit drum contains 55 gallons. Base Year Estimated Annual Demand (EAD) Stock to SRG (Richmond VA) is 3,597 DR; Stock to AQ5 (Tracy CA) is 2,149 DR. Option year EAD is Stock SRG 823 DR; Stock AQ5 491 DR. Delivery: 30 DARO. Automated Best Value System (ABVS) applies; the final contract award decision may be based on a combination of price, past performance, and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation.
