- The purpose of this synopsis is to announce the intent to extend sole source the current period of performance of five consolidated, hardware maintenance services, IDIQ contracts, up to a period of three months beginning on 01 July 2005. These contracts are DCA200-99-D-0011, DCA200-99-D-0012; DCA200-99-D-0013; DCA200-99-D-0015, and DCA200-99-D-0016 in which their performance periods expire in their entirety on 30 June 2005. Performance is at various Defense Enterprise Computing Center locations throughout the United States. The two contractors currently providing the services are Computer & Hi-Tech Management, Inc. (CHM), 596 Lynnhaven Pkwy., Virginia Beach, VA 23452, and Communication Technologies, Inc., 14151 Newbrook Drive, Chantilly, VA 20151. The follow-on acquisition of these hardware maintenance services has been accepted into Section 8(a) of the Small Business Act program as a competitive effort for only Section 8(a) firms. The RFP for the follow-on effort has been synopsized, proposals have been received and currently the acquisition is in the evaluation phase.
