- UNITED STATES GOVERNMENT Notice of Intent to Lease Space Using Other Than Full and Open Competition Fort Lauderdale, Florida The United States Government intends to award a succeeding lease, using other than full and open competition to Crown Center, of Fort Lauderdale, Florida. The lease will be for 34,463 rentable square feet of fully serviced space for a term of ten-years, five-years firm. The Government has a continuing need for this space. It has been determined that a succeeding lease will result in less cost to the Federal Government when the economics of moving, telecommunications, security, and duplication of tenant improvements are taken into consideration as an economic factor. Firms who are interested in commenting regarding the Government?s intention to award this project under Other Than Full and Open Competition or in obtaining additional information regarding the above procurement should provide their written comments to Louise Long, Contracting Officer, at louisem.long@gsa.gov or to her attention at GSA, Realty Services Division, Atrium West Building, 7771 West Oakland Park Boulevard, Suite 119, Sunrise, Florida.
