- Solicitation N00421-05-T-0134 is issued as a request for quote (RFQ). This action is not set aside for small business. The Government intends to purchase on a firm fixed-price basis and to solicit and negotiate the proposed purchase order on a sole source basis with Symmetricom, Inc. for the part number listed below, under the authority of FAR Part 6.302-1. The manufacturer must be Symmetricom, Inc. The contract line item number and description is **CLIN 0001 Quantity 14 ea P/N 151-308-XXX-XX for 2 yr extended warranty. Award is expected 16 Jun 2005. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals by the Government. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The Government will not pay for any information received.
