- This notice is released to announce a U.S. Army Corps of Engineers District, New Orleans requirement for replacement of two air handlers onboard the Dredge Wheeler as a supply contract. The work to be performed under this contract will be on the Dre dge Wheeler located in Orleans Parish, New Orleans, LA. It will include removing and installing two new air handlers. The Request for Quote is for a firm-fixed price supply contract to be competed under solicitation W912P8-05-T-0065. This action is set a side 100% for Small Business concerns under NAICS code 238220, size standard $12M. The RFQ and all information pertaining to this acquisition will be made available electronically through the Federal Business Opportunities electronic posting system web lin k at http://www.fedbizopps.gov. It is and will continue to be all potential quoters responsibility to monitor the fedbiz website for any amendments, updates, quoters, library, responses to questions and answers as the government will not be maintaining a mailing list. It is incumbent upon all potential quoters to download from the fedbiz website or request an electronic copy of the data by e-mailing Melissa.k.koehn@mvn02.usace.army.mil or faxing request to 504-862-2892. Any communications must identify the RFQ number, W912P8-05-T-0065, company name, address, phone number including area code, facsimile number and point of contact. No phone call request will be accepted. The solicitation release date is 07 June 2005 with a closing date of 07 July 2005 @ 1 0:00 A.M. NOTE: Bidders must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) is required by Federal Regulations (See FAR 52.204-7004), therefore you must be CCR registered to be awarded this project and payment from any DOD activity.
