Description

This acquisition is for an estimated quantity of 60,000 OE-254/GRC Feedcone Assemblies in accordance with RA Miller Industries, INC. part numbers. The method of acquisition will be a Firm-Fixed-Priced, Requirements type contract with one base year a nd four option years. The OE-254/GRC Feedcone Assemblies is part of the AS-3166/GRC antenna system. The OE-254/GRC is a broadband, omni-directional, bi-conical antenna with three upward and three downward extended radial elements connected to a cone at e ach end with center hub insulation. The extended radial elements project at an angle of 30 degrees from true vertical, and the lengths are permanently adjusted to provide an impedance match over the frequency range from 30 to 88 MHz. The AS-3166/GRC ante nna is used for tactical radio communications and is used with the Single Channel Ground and Airborne Radio System and other tactical radios that operate in the same frequency band. Destinations are unknown at this time. No drawings available. The Gover nment intends to enter into sole source negotiations with RA Miller Industries, INC. Previous procurement history will be made available in section L of the Solicitation.
