- The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Field Acquisition Office in Grand Prairie, Texas intends to make multiple awards for the provision of Comprehensive Medical Services for the Federal Prison Camp located in Bryan, Texas. Offerors are encouraged to submit comprehensive proposals providing all listed requirements. Offerors who propose less will be evaluated accordingly. Services to be provided shall include inpatient/outpatient hospital services, inpatient/outpatient physician services, and outpatient institution services. The contract type is indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract with firm-fixed unit pricing. The contract shall consist of a Base Period and four 12-month option periods for renewal. The estimated quantities for the Base Period and all Option Years are as follows: Inpatient Days - Guaranteed Minimum 40 days - Estimated Maximum 150 days; Outpatient Visits - Guaranteed Minimum 200 visits - Estimated Maximum 850 visits; Outpatient Institution Psychiatry Services - Guaranteed Minimum 13 visits - Estimated Maximum 52 visits; Outpatient Institution Optometry Services - Guaranteed Minimum 26 sessions - Estimated Maximum 104 sessions. The solicitation will be made available on/or about July 11, 2005 and will be distributed solely through the General Administrations Federal Business Opportunities website at http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available. The site provides downloading instructions. All future information regarding this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will also be distributed solely through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. The anticipated date for receipt of proposals is August 26, 2005. Faith-Based and Community-Based Organizations have the right to submit offers equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which will be considered.
