- Description
- The intent of this contract is to secure services for mechanical tree thinning on 94 acres for fuels reduction and forest health. Mechanical equipment shall be used to whole tree cut, whole tree yard, utilization of yarded material and the unmerchantable material shall be piled in the landings. The project is located on the Tahoe National Forest, American River Ranger District. To reach the work location, from Foresthill, Ca., travel Northeast on the Mosquito Ridge Road for 24 miles to the project area. Estimated start work date August 1, 2005, contract time 54 days. Solicitation issue date June 30, 2005.
