- Description
- The Monument Canyon Fuel Mitigation Project is located west of the community of Vallecitos on the Jemez Ranger District of the Santa Fe National Forest in The State of New Mexico. The Vallecitos Wild land Urban Interface was identified by the State of New Mexico as one of twenty ?communities at risk? from wildfire. The National Fire Plan of 2000 mandates the Forest Service to initiate fuel mitigation measures to reduce fuels around these communities. This contract is an indefinite quantity/indefinite delivery contract. Period of contract will be one year with option to extend for an additional four years. It is estimated that a minimum task order will be initially issued for 80 acres of fuel treatment. This solicitation will not be avilable electronically. Only hard-copies will be available.
