This solicitation will be issued in electronic format only. Paper copies of this s olicitation will not be available. Other methods of requesting a package will not be honored. Contractors may view and/or download this solicitation and all amendments from the Internet after solicitation issuance. Description of work: The U.S. Army Cor ps of Engineers, Savannah District, requires a contract to furnish all labor, materials, equipment, and transportation to fulfill the requirements of task orders issued by the Contracting Officer for general excavation, miscellaneous dike repairs, weir sys tem repairs, ditching, grassing, and general maintenance of dredge material disposal areas and other related work on Kings Bay Navy Submarine Base, Kings Bay, Georgia. The contract will be an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) with task orders to be written over a period of one year. Offerors are required to submit price and other information as required by the solicitation. The contract period of performance will have one Base and three Option Periods. The overall estimated cost range is b etween $1,000,000.00 and $3,000,000.00 for the Base and Options combined. Network Analysis System will not be required. This solicitation is issued on an unrestricted basis pursuant to the Business Opportunity Development Reform Act of 1988(Public Law 100 -656). All firms are deemed eligible to submit bids. Any contract resulting from this solicitation will be a Firm-Fixed Price contract. This solicitation will be issued in electronic format only and will be available on or about 31 March 2004. The bid o pening date will be specified in the solicitation when it is issued. The Standard Industrial Classification Code (SIC) is 1629 and North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 237990, and size standard is $28,500,000.00. POC: Edwina S.
