- Description
- The U.S. Marshals Service (USMS) has a requirement for towing, storage, maintenance and disposal of seized and forfeited vehicles in the Southern District of Texas. The vehicles will include production sized cars, trucks, vans, motorcycles, etc. It is the intent of the USMS to award a commercial item contract with a contract term of a base year and 4 one-year options, for a total of 5 years. This solicitation is a 100% set-aside for small business concerns. It is anticipated that solicitaion number DJMS-05-R-0005 will be issued on or about December 10, 2004. The estimated response date is January 24, 2005. The solicitation will be distributed through the General Services Administration's Electronic Posting System(EPS) web site: http://www.eps.gov. The EPS provides downloading instructions. All future information about this acquistion, including amendments, will be distributed solely through the EPS website. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring the EPS website to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. NOTE: THIS NOTICE MAY HAVE POSTED ON WWW.FEDBIZOPPS.GOV ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (22-NOV-2004).
