- Description: The Crane Division, Naval Surface Warfare Center is seeking a prospective source for a Rotary Wing radar system to replace the AN/APN-215 multimode radar, used on the HH-60 helicopter. This radar must be compatible with the HH-60 nose cone size/weight constraint of 187 cu. in., 250 lbs. It must provide target detection from 500 feet up to 60 nm at a minimum altitude of 50 feet and weather detection up to 120 nm. Display hardware must support color images and must be night vision goggle compatible. Operator should be able to select from weather, maritime surface search, and ground mapping modes. Built-in-Test function must exist for maintenance to locate defective Line Replaceable Units. Please respond with estimated costs for budgetary purposes for 50 systems. This request is for any applicable product literature, features, general specification, performance specifications, qualification, test date, model/part number, rough order of magnitude pricing, and availability current applications.
