Description

This is a procurement for various SEMT PIELSTICK repair parts. Repair parts for the PC4.2V Exhaust manifold Repairs and PC4.2V PME Repair parts have a required delivery date of 15 September 2005. Repair parts for PC4.2V Main Propulsion Engines is 01 August 2005. Partial quantities will be considered for award. This is a Firm Fixed Price Contract. FOB Destination. This requirement will be solicited under NAICS Code 336611 with a size standard of 1000 employees. Telephonic requests for the solicitation resulting from this notice will not be accepted. Only written (fax or email) requests will be accepted. Fax number is 619 553-7686 or e-mail to jaime.jerde@navy.mil. All requests must provide Duns & Bradstreet number, and CAGE Code. All faxed requests must include an email address. The estimated issue date for this solicitation is 08 June 2005. The closing date of the solicitation will be 13 June 2005 unless another date is specified in the solicitation. This requirement will be procured under FAR Part 12. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within 10 days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
