- ***** MODIFICATION TO INITIAL SOURCES SOUGHT FOR GROMMETS/155MM RENOVATION ***** The U.S. Army HQ, Army Field Support Command (HQ, AFSC) is seeking interested sources for the proposed procurement of 155MM Grommets. Current projected base quantity is approximately 30,000 to 40,000 and options up to 100% will be included for years 2 an d 3. Manufacture shall be in accordance with Technical Data Package List (TDPL) 19203 9251527. The TDP is available by contacting the Contract Specialist listed below. The TDP CD-ROM will be mailed to interested parties by regular mail or can be mailed b y preferred carrier when appropriate shipping number is provided. For this procurement the Government will be utilizing an Invitation for Bid (IFB). The grommet is made from plastic. It is 6.70 inches in diameter and 2.520 inches in length and its shipp ing weight is .5 lbs. The government requests interested parties to submit a Rough Order of Magnitude (ROM) Pricing information. This market survey is for information and planning purposes only, does not constitute an IFB and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government. The North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) is 326199. We are seeking all sources at this time. Any information provided by industry to the government as a result of this sources sought is voluntary. The governm ent will not pay for any information submitted in response to this sources sought. Acknowledgement of receipt will not be issued, nor will respondents be notified of the results of the evaluation of the data received. Responses are required by 3:00 PM ES T on 16 June 2005.
