- Description
- The 700th Contracting Squadron is issuing a request for proposal (RFP) under solicitation number FA5613-04-R-3012 for award of a maintenance, repair, and safety inspection service contract for elevators located in the Kaiserslautern Military Community (KMC), Germany. The contractor shall provide all management, tools, supplies, equipment, and labor necessary to perform safety inspections, preventive maintenance and repair to elevators at Ramstein Air Base, Sembach Administrative Annex , Landstuhl and Vogelweh (Kaiserslautern Military Community) in a manner that will ensure continuous and safe operation. Service shall be performed in accordance with the standards described in the Statement of Work (SOW), which will be made part of the solicitation. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-27. The contemplated contract type is a Firm-Fixed Price contract. The procurement procedures outlined in FAR Part 12 and Subpart 13.5 will be utilized for this acquisition. Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) procedures will be utilized for this procurement. North American Industry Classification System assigned to this acquisition is 238290. Award will include the base period plus four option years. The base period of performance will be from 1 July 2005 through 30 September 2005. The RFP package is attached to this notice, and is available for downloading and viewing. The RFP package is available on the Internet. Questions related to this project must be submitted in writing. Only hand carried and emailed proposals will be accepted. Proposals are to be brought to 700CONS/LGCC, Attn: SSgt Rozelle D. Dickens, Bldg. 164, Room 326, Rhine Ordnance Barracks, Kaiserslautern Germany, or e-mailed to: rozelle.dickens@ramstein.af.mil. No proposals will be accepted after 5:00 p.m. local time (GMT +1 hour), on 13 June 2005.
