Description
The Government is seeking potential sources for a possible United States Air Force contract. The United States Air Force Force Protection Battlelab is interested in and contemplating establishing one or possibly two contracts to provide a quick response vehicle for operational Evaluation and Assessment support services. The mission of the Force Protection Battlelab is to identify innovative concepts for protecting Air Force personnel, facilities, and weapons systems and rapidly measure their potential for advancing Air Force core competencies and joint warfighting using field ingenuity, modeling, simulation, and actual employment of exploratory capabilities in operational environments. The Force Protection Battlelab is focused on the following three broad areas: (a) Force Protection; (b) Counterterrorism and Antiterrorism; and (c) Force Health Protection. The Government envisions a multiple year contract(s). This proposed contract will be a quick response vehicle used to provide a wide range of support services to include but not limited to: independent technical studies and analysis; conduct of site surveys and field data collection; evaluation of Force Protection Battlelab and other Department of Defense initiatives; system demonstrations; tests; validation and verification activities. Additionally the Government will require support in the area of modeling and simulation; program management; related administrative, security, documentation generation, and presentation support, and program support throughout all of the demonstration or initiative phases. Due to the highly specialized nature of this requirement, we are requesting that interested sources submit a capabilities statement/brief no longer than 3-pages. Submit your capabilities brief/statement no later than 12:00 PM CST on 14 Jun 05, to Steve Cardenas via email at steve.cardenas@lackland.af.mil. In the data submitted, please ensure that you include at a minimum the following: (a) your company?s Commercial and Government Entity code (CAGE) assigned from the Central Contractor Registration database (www.ccr.gov); (b) provide at least five projects/tests/assessments/evaluations your company has executed in the technical areas mentioned above; and (c) the annual average gross revenue of your company, taken for the last 3 fiscal years. This information will be used to assist the Government in determining the available pool of potential responsible contractors who may be capable of fulfilling the contract?s requirements. Any questions on the information being requested in the Capabilities Brief/Statement, may be directed to Mr. Donald Lowe (Donald.Lowe@lackland.af.mil) at (210) 925-5198 or Mr. Curtis White (curtis.white@lackland.af.mil) at (210) 925-7048.
