Description
This is a SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS. There is no solicitation available at this time. Requests for a solicitation will not receive a response. This Sources Sought Synopsis is in support of a market survey being conducted by the Air Force to determine potential sources technically capable and qualified to furnish non-personal services that include personnel, supervision, management, transportation materials (except where such materials are furnished by the Government) necessary to manage and operate an Internet-based War Reserve Materiel (WRM) Parts Store. The contractor shall be required to furnish automotive and related vehicle parts, automotive chemicals, corrosion control materials, upholstery material and accessories for approximately 4,000 vehicles located in Qatar, Oman, Kuwait, and Bahrain. Additionally, there are over 29,395 assets such as; mobile generators, field kitchens, expandable shelters, reverse osmosis water systems, shower units, runway lighting systems, aircraft barrier systems, power distribution units, secondary distribution units, field deployable environmental control units, and many others to numerous to list here. There are over 1324 Fuels Mobility Support Equipment assets which include but is not limited to: fuel transfer systems, bulk transfer pump assemblies and bladders. Lastly, there are over 651 pieces of Aircraft Generation Equipment which include power units, maintenance stand, towbars, hydraulic units and other units. The information and capabilities submitted by interested vendors will be used to develop an acquisition strategy to include socioeconomic program support. This announcement will help interested offerors make a more informed decision of their probability of success and determine whether or not they should proceed with a full proposal effort. Any information submitted by respondents to this synopsis is strictly voluntary. The government will not pay for any information that is submitted by respondents to this Sources Sought Synopsis request. To assist us, the Air Force requests the following information from potential offerors: (1) What is your company name, pint of contact, mailing address, phone number, and e-mail address? (2) What is your business classification (e.g., large business, small business, small disadvantaged business, etc.)? (3) Are you interested in competing for this acquisition once/if the requirement becomes available as a solicitation? (4) What type of corporate experience do you have that is similar to the type of work described above? (5) How many years of corporate experience does your firm have with requirements of this nature? (6) Of this experience, what has been the magnitude of the requirements? (7) Does your firm have a current GSA contract to cover this service? Participation in this effort is strictly voluntary with no cost or obligation to be incurred by the Government. The Government will in no way be obligated to purchase all or part of the items described above, and is providing this information as ?general? information only. The Government will in no way be bound to this information if any solicitation is issued. Once the government determines the type of contractor eligibility that will be solicited for this requirement, a solicitation document will be made available through the Electronic Posting System, FedBizOpps Website. The subsequent proposal will need to include evidence of the offeror?s capability to comply with all areas and requirements included in the Performance Work Statement (PWS). The participation of 8(a), Hub Zone, Small Service Disabled Veteran Owned, Woman Owned, and Disadvantaged Small Businesses is highly encouraged if technically capable. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 423120 (500 Employees). Notice to Potential Offerors: All offerors who provide goods or services to the Department of Defense (DOD) must be registered in Central Contractor Registration (CCR) and the Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA).
