Description

* * * REVISED SYNOPSIS * * * The Veterans Affairs (VA), Network 22 Logistics Office, Long Beach, CA intends to award a firm-fixed price contract for Janitorial Services and Supplies for the VA Southern Nevada Healthcare System?s (VASNHS) Readjustment Counseling Center, hereafter referred to as the ?Outreach Center? in the Redstone Office Building at 1919 S. Jones Boulevard, Suite A, Las Vegas, NV 89146. In accordance with FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Item, FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures and FAR Part 15, Contracting by Negotiation. The Contractor shall provide all necessary and appropriate labor, supervision, materials, equipment and supplies to successfully perform janitorial services as defined under the North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) Code 561720. The Size Standard is $14.0 M. The Period of performance shall be from July 1, 2005 through June 30, 2006 with the Government having the option to exercise four (4) one year renewal periods from July 1, 2006 through June 30, 2010. The solicitation shall be available via FedBizOpps (http://fedbizopps.gov) on or about June 3, 2005. A walk-through for interested Contractors has been scheduled for June 9, 2005 at 1:00 PM (PST), at the VASNHS ?Outreach Center? in the Redstone Office Building at 1919 S. Jones Boulevard, Suite A, Las Vegas, NV 89146. Attendance is not mandatory, but Contractors are encouraged to attend. Only one walk-through for this solicitation will be conducted.
