- Description
- The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) has a requirement for a total of approximately 4000 telephone lines which consist of either analog or primary rate interface (PRI) spread over 22 localities and surrounding metropolitan areas. All inter and intra lata toll calls are to be routed over the Sprint network. Sprint is the current FTS provider for ATF and all inter and intra lata calls. All vendors are required to ensure number portability. ATF cannot accept telephone number changes. Features that may be required are, but not limited to: Call Forward Variable to toll and non toll locations, Line Hunting, Group Pick Up and point to point radio transmission circuits. Summary bills will be required for multiple accounts. The localities include but are not limited to the following: Washington, DC; Baltimore, MD, Boston, MA; Charlotte, NC; Miami, FL; New York, NY; Philadelphia, PA; Tampa, FL; Atlanta, GA; Columbia, OH; Detroit, MI; Louisville, KY; Nashville, TN; New Orleans, LA; St. Paul, MN; Kansas City, MO; Dallas, TX; Houston, TX; Los Angeles, CA; Phoenix, AZ; San Francisco, CA; Seattle, WA. ATF intends to award to the vendor in each locality who provides the fair market local billing rate. The awards will be for one base year and four option periods. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. Awards will be made in a reasonable time from the date when this notice closes. A determination by the Government to not accept responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The NAICS code is 517310 for telephone communication resellers. Awardees must be registered in the Department of Defense's Central Contractor Registration database (CCR) for payment by electronic funds transfer (EFT). james.huff@atf.gov.
