- Selected contractor(s) will assist HUD in the management of Single-Family properties in HUD's inventory as a result of FHA insurance defaults by providing (1) lead-based paint inspections and risk assessments of all HUD-owned properties constructed before 1960 and all HUD-owned properties constructed between 1960 - 1978 that are subsequently sold with FHA insured financing; (2) work plans for the stabilization of deteriorated lead-based paint and lead-based paint hazards, if any are found, and (3) clearance examinations after HUD's Management and Marketing (M&M) contractor has provided for stabilization of properties as recommended. This competition is restricted to qualified 8(a) firms. It is anticipated that four contracts will be awarded based on the solicitation.
